Wow! What A Difference Places are always changing. It seems the only thing you can count on is change. Throughout the summer months we carry out photographic surveys of the area - we then update the Virtual Streets and publish all the photos in our massive online Photo Library. This section is dedicated to places with the most notable improvements. Our photos speak for themselves! |

Dempseys Restaurant and Bar has just opened in Westow Hill (round the corner from Barclays Bank). Of the forty or so restaurants in Norwood they are the first to consider serving English food - why didn't anyone else think of that? The interior has been fully refurbished with a modern colour-scheme of copper and ivory and is a vast improvement on what used to be Chez Bernard's. |

The little nic-nac shop that nestled between Barclays and the Launderette has sadly disappeared. But it has been replaced with a very funky hairdressers simply known as Trigga. |

The other end of Westow Hill is rising to the challenge - Gulet is a new Turkish restaurant that has opened opposite Indigo. Both have made a considerable difference to the street by eliminating properties that have been vacant for some time. The interior of Indigo is almost a tourist attraction with furnishings in a style that rivals Whippet's offerings in Westow Street. |

We are not sure why Ferrari's Italian restaurant in Westow Hill changes its shopfront more often that other places change their menu but we think the further improvement was worthwhile. |

Base Property Locators have opened in Crystal Palace. We think it's a sign of things to come when style conscious property experts spring up at the roundabout end of Church Road which has been looking depressingly derelict for far too long - what do they know we don't? |
